Product Care

FAQ ?

  • Can it get scratched by keys or metal objects?

No. The tray is made from 6000-series aluminium, finished with a fine beadblast and a protective anodisation. As long as it’s used with normal care, it won’t scratch. You can place keys, rings, metal objects, directly on the surface without any problem. That said, the surface is not indestructible. If the tray is used improperly or deliberately scratched, marks may appear, like on any finely finished metal.

  • Will the Valet Tray scratch the furniture I place it on?

No. The edges of each aluminium plate are precisely rectified to ensure a smooth, even contact with any surface. This means the tray rests flat without sharp points or edges, making it safe to use on wood, metal, plastic, or any other furniture without risk of scratching.

  • Does the Valet Tray come assembled?

Yes. It arrives fully assembled and ready to use, no setup required.

  • Are the aluminium plates fixed together or can they move?

They’re fixed. The three plates are securely locked in place with custom brackets.

  • Can I use it in the bathroom, kitchen, or around water?

Yes. The tray is made from anodised aluminium 6061, which is resistant to corrosion and safe to use near water or other liquids. It won’t rust, stain, or degrade over time, even with occasional splashes of perfume, soap, or moisture.

THE MANUFACTURE

We have overseen every step in the creation of this valet tray, from the earliest sketches to the final assembly. Designed, prototyped, and developed entirely under our direction. Three solid plates of 6061 aluminium are CNC-machined with extreme precision, then bead-blasted to achieve a smooth, satin texture. A final anodised layer protects the surface and enhances durability over time. At the core of the construction are three deep blue anodised brackets, discreet but essential, that fix the plates together and bring structure to the design. As always, each piece is carefully assembled and checked by hand in our atelier in the south of France.

We are Javier and Anaïs, a French-Spanish couple with a shared passion for design and precision. After six years in the aerospace industry, we decided to apply that same level of rigor and curiosity to a new field: the design of everyday objects.
