We handle every step of the candle-making process with care, from the initial design to the final assembly. This includes crafting the jars and creating the unique fragrances. Over the years, we’ve built strong partnerships with skilled artisans from France, Spain, and Italy, specializing in metalwork, porcelain, and glass. Each candle is lovingly assembled by hand in our atelier located in the south of France.
We are Javier and Anaïs, a French-Spanish couple who share both a life and a love for design. After six years in the aerospace industry, where every detail matters, we decided to bring that same care to making candles, and that’s how UNAVELA was born. We wanted to create something different from traditional candles, so we used our experience to innovate. For example, we work with aerospace aluminum and use special techniques to craft intricate shapes in high-temperature porcelain. To make our candles even more special, we teamed up with Patrice Revillard, a well-known perfumer from Paris. He created seven unique scents for our collection, each inspired by a childhood memory. Our candles don’t just decorate and perfume your home—they also tell our story.
