We are Javier and Anaïs, a Spanish-French couple brought together by a shared passion for design. Before founding UNAVELA, Javier spent six years in the aerospace industry, designing satellites where precision, functionality, and attention to every detail were part of everyday work. Today, we apply that same level of care to every object we create.

UNAVELA is our design studio, built around a simple idea, rethinking the everyday. We believe familiar objects can always be approached differently, revealing new forms, materials, and ways of interacting with them. Our work combines engineering precision with a strong aerospace influence, creating objects where functionality and aesthetics are inseparable. Every piece is designed to be used, noticed, and kept, with careful attention to every detail, from the initial concept to the final finish. Alongside our own collections, we also design and develop products for brands and private clients, helping transform ideas into thoughtful, lasting objects with a distinctive identity.

Every object begins with a question. How can something familiar be reimagined? Our products are designed, prototyped, and developed entirely under our direction. From the earliest sketches and engineering studies to the final assembly. To bring our ideas to life, we combine advanced manufacturing techniques, carefully selected materials, and meticulous craftsmanship. CNC machining, precision forming, glass blowing, additive manufacturing, and hand finishing are chosen not for their complexity, but because they are the best way to achieve the result we are looking for. Each object is produced in small batches and carefully assembled and inspected by hand in our atelier in the south of France. The result is a collection of functional objects engineered to be used every day.
