DRAGONFLY DIFFUSER

€ 680

Dragonfly Fragrance Diffuser, inspired by the delicate balance of a dragonfly’s form. A familiar object, reimagined without reeds and rebuilt around a new diffusion system. A borosilicate glass vessel in deep tinted blue holds the fragrance, drawn upward through a capillary tube and released through a reticular sponge that diffuses it gently into the air. Three aluminium 6061 pods, CNC cut and precisely bent, support the structure, while a reinforced ABS head completes the assembly. This fragrance diffuser is more than a functional object. It’s our way of rethinking the everyday. Made to be used, noticed, and kept. Not just a diffuser, but a quiet conversation about design. This is the third edition in a series of functional objects by UNAVELA.

faqs

How does it work ?

Dragonfly uses a new technology we developed. A capillary glass tube, with a precisely calibrated diameter, draws the fragrance from the container upwards. The liquid is then retained in a reticular sponge housed inside the head, allowing it to diffuse gradually into the air.

How long does it last ?

Based on our internal tests, a single Dragonfly diffuser lasts between 8 and 10 months, depending on room temperature and air circulation.

Does it require electricity ?

No. Dragonfly works without any power source or connection. Just place it on a surface and let it do its job, silently and continuously.

Can I refill it with any fragrance?

No. The fragrance formula has been specifically designed to work with the Synestix system. If your diffuser runs out, contact us to order a new refill crafted for this exact setup.

THE MANUFACTURE

Every element of the Dragonfly diffuser has been developed under our full direction, from early technical sketches to final assembly. Each aluminium pod is CNC-cut from 6061 aluminium, then precisely bent, bead-blasted and anodised for a clean, satin finish. The central container is made from borosilicate glass, mouth-blown by hand and tinted in the mass for lasting colour. The head is 3D printed in reinforced ABS and fitted with a custom reticular sponge. All components are manually assembled and adjusted in our atelier in the south of France.
