No. We tested this cup side by side with a standard porcelain espresso cup. After pouring the same coffee into both, the temperature felt almost the same. You can hold it with your fingers, just like any other cup.

Yes, it’s safe. Our cup is treated with a special food-grade anodisation, just like traditional Italian coffee machines many people use at home. It is is 100% safe for drinks.

Yes, it is. The cup was designed so that one side matches the average width of a mouth. Two edges touch your lips, and the feeling is the same as with any normal cup. You won’t notice any difference when drinking.

Just rinse it with water. Like traditional Italian coffee machines, do not use soap or a dishwasher. Don’t scrub it. Just rinse, dry, and it’s ready for the next espresso.

THE MANUFACTURE

We have overseen every step in the creation of this espresso cup, from the first sketches to the final assembly. Designed, prototyped, and produced entirely under our direction.This espresso cup is machined from a single block of aluminium using advanced CNC technology, ensuring exceptional precision and consistency. The surface is then bead-blasted with a fine abrasive to achieve a soft, satin texture that feels smooth in the hand. A transparent anodisation is applied to protect the metal and guarantee it is food safe. Each piece is carefully assembled and checked by hand in our atelier in the south of France.
