This candle combines orange blossom with different citrus fruits recreating the scent of the well-known orange plantations in the region of Valencia. The orange blossom brings a sweet base that breaks the acidity of the citrus, making this a sublime blend. An aroma that can be felt on sunny spring days in this beautiful region of Spain. The glass is made of the same borosilicate blown glass that is used to manufacture laboratory instruments. This together with the 100% rapeseed wax, and its rigid cardboard packaging gives the candle an exceptional quality.

Product Care

  • To maximize the longevity and aroma of your scented candle, ensure it burns until the entire surface liquefies
  • Preserve the fragrance by limiting burn sessions to 2 hours initially and 1 hour thereafter, especially during the candle’s first third
  • Never leave your scented candle unattended, and avoid placing it in drafty areas. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and away from curtains
  • If the wick needs realignment, gently adjust it while the wax remains liquid. Allow the candle to solidify before relighting
  • Trim any wick residue to prevent black smoke. Ensure the wick is clean and no longer than 5mm for optimal burning
  • Safeguard surfaces with a wood or ceramic plate under the candle
  • Avoid burning your scented candle to its base. Always leave approximately 5mm of unmelted wax at the bottom
  • Maintain your candle in a dry, moderate environment, ideally between 15 and 30°C
  • Utilize your scented candle within the first two months of receiving it for the best experience

THE MANUFACTURE

We take care of every part of the candle creation process. From the design to the final assembly, including the manufacturing of the jars and the perfumes. Throughout our adventure we have developed a close collaboration with French, Spanish and Italian artisans to work with metal, porcelain and glass. The final assembly is made by hand, in our atelier in the south of France.

BEHIND UNAVELA

We are Javier and Anaïs, a French-Spanish couple who share not only life, but also a passion for design. After spending six years in the aerospace industry, where every detail counts, we decided to bring the same rigor to the world of candles. Thus UNAVELA was born. Tired of the monotony of traditional candles, we decided to use the knowledge we had to innovate in the world of candles, using for example aerospace aluminum, or revolutionary methods to make complex shapes in high temperature porcelain. The complexity of our products would be nothing without a perfume of the same quality. Patrice Revillard, a renowned Parisian perfumer, was in charge of designing the 7 perfumes that compose our range of candles, each of them inspired by a childhood memory. All this makes our candles objects that decorate, perfume and above all tell our story.
